Vietnamese Egg
Coffee
Before our trip to Vietnam, many people already told us we had to try Vietnamese Egg Coffee. I try
to picture a mixture of egg and coffee. Honestly, the combination didn't really sound appetizing to
me at first. Egg and coffee don't really seem like the best combination...
We decied to save our first taste of egg coffee for our last few days in Vietnam. As we were told
that the best egg coffee can be found in Hanoi. We go ahead and order two egg coffees. After a few
minutes, two very tasty looking coffees are delivered at our table. 'Am I going to regret tasting
this only now? Missing out on this great coffee earlier on this trip?', I wonder.
The coffee looks a bit like a cappuccino. A cappuccino-like coffee, but instead of milk you get egg??
Still seemed a bit weird to me. I love a good cappuccino though. I finally take a sip and it is
suprisingly good. The coffee is a little sweeter than I expected, but definitely tasty!
